I am a currently year 2 ABAA student from Associate of Business Administration in Accountancy with a CGPA of 3.61 at the end of Semester A 2016-17.

I usually describe myself as a sociable person with good adaptability. After secondary school, I have to share some of the financial pressure of my family by a part-time job, it is hard to bear financial and academic pressure at the same time. But due to my adaptability, I get used to the situation quickly, my academic results have been improved every semester and what I learnt is time management and how to be mature. Since the financial pressure of my family has been reduced, but what I have learnt is useful in my whole life.

During the year studying in CCCU, I tried to improve my soft skills like communication skills and explore my visions by joining and organising co-curricular activities at the beginning of my tertiary education, For example, several Boot Camps, workshops, volunteer works and field trips which planned by me and my peers. Besides, I have joined both HKIAAT Business Competition, ACCA Hong Kong Business Competition. It provided me with the opportunities of implementing my knowledge from classes and grab some experiences.

I am actively involved in student activities, taking care of peers’ welfare as organiser of different kinds of activities. As the Vice Chair (SoFA) of 2016-17 ABAA Student Representative Council (SRC), I am responsible for leading 40 student leaders to organise for our peers to improve me and over 300 accountancy students' soft skills. I have also tried my best to contribute toward peers by the way of being Project Manager of Boot Camp 3 which is an articulation seminar and mock interviews for about hundreds of participants, A Mentor of ABAA’s Mentorship Scheme in helping freshmen to adapt in the tertiary education and also student academic advisor to provide bits of advice for students who have difficulties in study. My leadership and communication skills can be improved through organising and joining this kind of activities. In the year, I found myself being more confidence and what these do not just benefit peers but also myself. From the volunteer work camp in Malaysia and being Enumerator in Population by Census Hong Kong 2016, I have learnt to communicate with variety kinds of people and work as a team. Besides, By representing Kwai Tsing district to join the Henderson Youth League Football competition and participant in several community services like Assistants of Homeless World Cup Hong Kong China Division, I found that I have been trained well to work as a team and communication.

From extra-curricular activities mentioned above, I understood that study is not the only thing in tertiary study. The most important part is learning to be mature. I thought that in this two years, my communication, leadership and time management skills have been greatly improved and I hope that I am available to continue in my tertiary study.
